Join Our Team as a Sales Support Team Manager
Are you an experienced and dynamic sales team leader looking to make an impact for Madison which distributes cycling and action sports products, Sportline which designs and distributes premium bike brands, and Leeda which specialises in fishing and angling equipment, collectively serving the outdoor sports industry?
We’re seeking a proactive Sales Support Team Manager to drive excellence and ensure seamless operations within our dedicated Sales Support Teams for the above and to support our field-based sales team.
As our Sales Support Team Manager, you will be responsible for managing and motivating a high-performing team of sales support professionals, ensuring the smooth processing of orders, engage with customers, both inbound and outbound, to promote our products and delivering an exceptional experience for our retail partners. You’ll collaborate with sales, logistics, and customer service teams to streamline processes, enhance productivity, and drive sales growth with a well-established customer base.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead, coach, and motivate the sales support team to meet and exceed targets
• Handle inbound sales calls, answer customer enquiries, provide information about our products
• Make outbound calls, contact customer with specials offers and promotions
• Oversee order processing, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to customers
Key Requirements
• Proven experience in sales support or customer service management (preferably in a B2B environment)
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Work closely with the sales team to understand customer needs and provide tailored support
• Identify process improvements and implement efficient systems to boost performance
• Resolve customer issues and complaints, delivering outstanding service at every touchpoint
• Report on team performance, sales data, and customer feedback to senior management
• A passion for the cycling industry and an understanding of cycling products is a plus
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• A proactive problem solver with a customer centric mindset
